You are responsible for reading and understanding the rules, regulations, all applicable membership guides, newsletters and online information and updates. Your rights, responsibilities and membership status are described therein. JAL may amend the rules of this program at any time, with or without notice.

| 1. |
The JAL Family Club herein (hereinafter referred to as “JALFC”) is managed by Japan Airlines International Co. Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “JAL”). |
| 2. |
Individuals who register participation in JALFC (hereinafter referred to as the “JALFC members” and shall mean the Primary member and his/her Family members as defined in Article 2 below) acknowledge receipt of, accept, and agree to observe the terms, conditions and limitations as expressed in the Rules for JAL Family Club Membership (hereinafter referred to as the “JAL Family Club Rules”), the JMB Handbook and JAL Mileage Bank Rules(hereinafter referred to as “JMB Rules”), the JAL website and the transportation provisions of JAL and its affiliate airline companies (Hereinafter collectively referred to as “The Rules”). |

The Primary member must reside in one of the countries or regions listed below to participate in the JALFC program.
- Americas:
North America, Central America and South America (including Hawaii and excluding Guam region and Saipan)
- Europe-Middle East-Africa:
European countries, Middle Eastern countries (west of Iran) and African countries
- Asia-Oceania:
China (including Hong Kong and Macao), Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, Korea, Indonesia, Vietnam, the Philippines, Taiwan, India, Bhutan, Sri Lanka, Brunei, Myanmar, Australia, New Zealand, Guam and Saipan

| 1. |
JALFC membership consists of Primary members and Family members (hereinafter collectively referred to as “Members” or “Family Unit”). Membership is limited to individual persons as defined under this Article. Corporations, entities, in whatever form, and animals do not qualify for membership in the JALFC. |
| 2. |
A Primary member shall be an individual or a representative person of a Family Unit over twelve (12) years of age who resides in a JALFC subject country, who has applied for membership to JAL using the prescribed form(s) and whom JAL has approved upon prescribed examinations. The term “Family” herein includes the members of the family of the Primary member as defined in the immediately following clause. |

Family members are limited to the spouse, children and their spouses, parents and spouse’s parents of a Primary member who have applied for membership to JAL through the Primary member and whom JAL has approved upon prescribed examinations. The definition of “spouse”, “child (children)” and “parent” shall be governed by the laws of the country or the region where the Primary member resides. The Primary member is responsible for enrolling his/her Family members using the prescribed form(s) for his/her country or region. There shall be no age limit in qualification for a Family member. However, any Family Unit wherein the Primary member is under the age of eighteen (18), must appoint a Proxy who shall also be a Member of the same Family Unit and over the age of eighteen (18). Primary member, or his/her Proxy if the Primary member is under the age of eighteen (18), is responsible for obtaining consent of his or her Family member(s) prior to enrolling. JAL shall not be responsible for any and all liabilities stemming from failure to obtain such consent(s).

The Primary member, or his/her Proxy if the Primary member is under the age of eighteen (18), shall be liable for any costs, claims, damages or demands of any kind from any third party, including damages to JAL, stemming from fraudulent use of miles, fraudulent applications, including falsifying Family membership applications.

| 5. |
The Primary member, or his/her Proxy if the Primary member is under the age of eighteen (18), bears full responsibility for any damages stemming from inaccurate applications or other Membership information submitted to JAL. JAL shall bear no liability for any damages or disadvantages stemming from inaccurate information. |
| 6. |
The Primary member and Family members hereby acknowledge that any Family member over the age of eighteen (18) is considered a Proxy for all other Family members.

| 7. |
Members may be subject to legal and/or administrative action by any appropriate government authority and JAL for any fraud, misuse, abuse, misrepresentation or any violation of the Rules. Mileage credit or award tickets may not be sold, purchased or bartered. Any such action may result in, without limitation, forfeiture of all award tickets, cancellation of all accrued miles, cancellation of membership, and prohibition form future participation in the JALFC and JMB programs.

Member shall pay a non-refundable prescribed annual membership fee (hereinafter referred to as “Annual Fee”) to JAL by the date and method indicated by JAL. |
| 2. |
The amount of the Annual Fee per Family shall be as given below regardless of the number of the Family members. Separate taxes may be required depending on the country or region of residence.
- Americas:
30 dollars (US$)
- Europe-Middle East-Africa:
15 pounds (UK Pound) or 22 Euros(EUR)
- Asia-Oceania:
3,150 yen (including the consumption tax)

Once paid, the Annual Fee shall not be refunded or credited in any form for any reason.

| 1. |
JALFC membership qualification commences from the date JAL registers the membership (hereinafter referred to as the “Admission Date”) and terminates on the last day of the same month in the following year, unless renewed in accordance with The Rules. However, if payment of the Annual Fee has not been received by JAL when due, the member(s) shall be disqualified.

| 2. |
In the event that a Primary member moves to a country outside the above listed JALFC subject countries or discontinues to satisfy the terms and conditions of The Rules described in Article 2 herein, JAL may, in its sole discretion, disqualify the Member(s).
|
| 3. |
JALFC membership qualification shall be automatically renewed each year upon receipt of the Annual Fee. The effective period of each subsequent renewed term shall be as given in Item 1 herein. |
| 4. |
JALFC members admitted in Japan must submit the prescribed overseas transfer registration to the JALFC office with jurisdiction over the subject country when relocating to a JALFC subject country. Failure to submit the overseas transfer registration will result in disqualification of the JALFC membership. |
| 5. |
When a Primary member relocates outside of a JALFC subject country provided in Article 1, clause 3 herein, and his/her Family members continue to reside in a JALFC subject country, the Primary member may appoint a Family member who is over twelve (12) years old to be the new Primary member. However, when the subject Family members change as provided in Item 3, Article 2 herein due to the change of the Primary member, there is a possibility that a Family member may be disqualified due to change of family relationship. |

| 1. |
A Primary member shall be a member of the JAL Mileage Program “JAL Mileage Bank” (“JMB”) in the region of his/her residence. Upon change of residence, the member shall be a member of the JMB in the new location.

| 2. |
Member may pool the mileage of his/her Family members who have been admitted to JALFC, and may exchange those miles for JMB privileges.
|
| 3. |
Only the Primary member, or his/her Proxy if the Primary member is under the age of eighteen (18), may apply for exchange of pooled mileage for JMB privileges, inquire and receive mileage information on his/her Family members, add, correct and delete addresses and other personal information, and transact all other JMB service requests on behalf of his/her Family members. However, as provided in Item 6, Article 2 any Family member over the age of eighteen (18) is considered to be a Proxy for all other Family members and may transact to the same extent as the Primary member. |

The Primary member, or Proxy is responsible for obtaining approval from his/her Family members before submitting applications affecting the mileage balances of his/her Family members. JAL assumes no responsibility for transactions submitted without the approval of the Family members. The Primary member, or his/her Proxy if the Primary member is under the age of eighteen (18), shall be responsible for any and all damages claimed from such transactions, including damages to JAL.) |
| 5. |
No accrued miles, award tickets, or any other accrued or available JMB benefits may be transferred as part of a domestic relations issue, or through operation of law. In the event of a member’s death, JMB Rule 14 will be applied with respect to accrued mileage transfers. |
| 6. |
Upon loss of qualification of JALFC membership, the JALFC member privileges shall become void simultaneously. However, the JMB privilege for which exchange procedure has been complete by the time of disqualification of the membership, the privilege shall be effective during the effective period. Even upon disqualification of JALFC membership, the JMB membership qualification in the country of residence shall continue. |
| 7. |
Cumulative calculations of mileage, calculation method for boarding record, content of privileges, campaigns and other JMB systems may differ depending on the JMB region. Except as expressly provided under the JAL Family Club Rules, regional JMB Rules shall apply for all mileage exchanges for JMB privileges. |
| 8. |
The JALFC membership ID number shall be the same as the JMB customer number. |

| 1. |
JAL shall provide a separate JALFC membership ID card (hereinafter referred to as the “JALFC Card”) to the Primary member and Family members.
|
| 2. |
Members are responsible for the safe keeping of their JALFC Cards. Members may not lend, transfer, offer as mortgage, or otherwise allow third parties use of their JALFC Cards.
|
| 3. |
Only the Member identified on the JALFC Card may use that card. |
| 4. |
Upon usage of a JALFC privilege, presentation of the JALFC card may be required. |
| 5. |
A JALFC Card has a function as the JMB card. Upon using the JMB program, the members may use the JALFC card as a JMB card. |

| 1. |
Primary member, or his/her Proxy if the Primary member is under the age of eighteen (18), may withdraw him/herself and his/her Family member from membership at any time. Also any Family member over the age of eighteen (18), may withdraw from membership at any time. In order to withdraw membership, the withdrawing member must submit a prescribed termination form to JAL without delay. The applicable membership shall be fully withdrawn from JALFC upon completion of the prescribed withdrawal procedure at JAL.

If the Primary Member is under the age of eighteen (18), the designated Proxy must file the withdrawal application.
|
| 3. |
In the event that payment of the Annual Fee has not been confirmed by the due date, the JALFC member shall be disqualified and withdrawn automatically. |
| 4. |
Re-admission is not allowed for six months after withdrawal from JALFC. |

| 1. |
When a name, address, occupation and other personal data of a member registered at JAL has changed, the member shall immediately register the change in a manner specified by JAL. JAL may require the member to submit a certificate of the change. |
| 2. |
The Primary member, or his/her Proxy if the Primary member is under the age of eighteen (18), is responsible for the accuracy and timeliness of all membership data. JAL bears no responsibility for any disadvantages to the Family caused by failure to register, omissions, errors, etc. in the change of registration form.

| 1. |
All notifications, documents, etc. concerning JALFC shall be addressed to Primary members as a general rule. |
| 2. |
As a managing authority of the JALFC, JAL shall not be liable for damage or loss to the members caused by usage of the JAL Group companies and participating affiliates.

| 3. |
JAL may revise the Rules and privileges of JALFC without notice. JAL may add or terminate participating affiliates without prior notice. |
| 4. |
In the event that a member violates the Rules for JALFC, JMB, or both, or pursues, or causes someone else to pursue any act in violation of any applicable law(s), or, an act which JAL judges to be harmful to the trusting relationship with JAL, including but not limited to attempts to commit fraud, JAL may, in its sole discretion, immediately disqualify and cancel the applicable membership(s), void any and all accumulated mileage, cancel unused privileges, demand damage compensation, refuse future applications for re-admission, and pursue any and all remedies available either through administrative proceedings or legal proceedings. |
| 5. |
Unless otherwise stated separately, the Rules for JALFC and JMB shall be governed by the laws of Japan. . |
| 6. |
JAL shall give the Members at least six (6) months advance notice prior to terminating the JALFC program. |
| 7. |
Contents of the Rules and notifications described in the latest JAL website or printed matters shall supercede all rules and notifications. |
| 8. |
JAL shall not be liable for any damage to the members incurred by usage of JALFC and JMB services by a third party caused by the Member’s intention or by accident. |
| 9. |
The JALFC Members agree, as a condition of participation in the JALFC program, JMB Rule 40 will be controlling in the event of any dispute, controversy or claims arising out of, or relating to this JALFC program.

| 10. |
In the event JAL, or its JALFC or JMB participants improperly denies a member mileage credit, travel awards, or any other JMB participating benefit, the Primary and/or Family members sole and exclusive remedy shall be the issuance of the improperly denied credit, award or benefit if still available, or some other benefit of approximately equal value. Under no circumstances shall JAL, or its JALFC or JMB program participants be liable to any member, or person claiming on behalf of a member, any direct, indirect or consequential damages, lost revenue, profits, for any acts of, or omissions by JAL and its participants in connection with the JALFC or JMB Programs. |

Member hereby agree that JAL may disclose the personal data of the Member to his/her Family members to the extent it is necessary to the management of the JALFC program. |
| 2. |
JAL complies with Court orders, divorce decrees, subpoenas and cooperates with government investigations. As a result, only to the extent required in such orders, decrees, subpoenas and investigations, your membership information, including travel history may be shared with appropriate requesting entities with or without your knowledge and consent. |
| 3. |
Please refer to the JAL Mileage Bank Handbook, Rules 42 through 46 inclusive dealing with the handling and management of personal information. |
